Imperium is a Empire-like real-time/turn based strategy game set in deep space. Several races, flexible ship configuration, programmable ship courses & actions, set it apart from other similar games. Can be played via telnet or dedicated GUI front-ends (currently only a FE for unix machines is available, Win32 client in the future). Everything but ship<->planet combat is implemented, but playtesting is needed to adjust parameters for fairness.

Additional System Requirements: Recent Linux distribution, the XForms library is needed for the GUI client but not the server.

A Nintendo emulator for Linux. (note! if you are having problems with the program, read the web page and the faq linked off the page. It does not work out of the box for quite a few distributions.) Unfortunatly, the source code is not avalible for this program, so it is not yet the most elegant solution.
