A library for C++ to create RPGs. It is a collection of basic classes to control objects, maps, items, etc. for role playing games. The author has abandoned this library and is looking for anyone that may be interested in picking up development.

LinBolo is an implementation of the popular Macintosh network game "Bolo" from the early to middle nineties from scratch on the Windows and Linux platforms. It runs on Linux, Windows 95, 98, NT4 (SP5+) and Windows 2000 operating systems. Bolo has been described by its author, Stuart Cheshire as,
"Bolo is a 16 player graphical networked real-time multi-player tank battle game. It has elements of arcade-style shoot-em-up action, but for the serious players who play 12 hour games with 16 players working in teams in different networked computer clusters around an office or university campus, it becomes more of a strategy game. Bolo has been described as a game that, "takes an instant to learn but a lifetime to master." It objectives appear simple, to capture and hold all bases on the map yet there are a wide varieties of strategies and counter strategies that can be employed. LinCity is an intriguing city simulation game which takes after SimCity and Civilization. The interface is similar to SimCity's, but the interesting thing is that most of the buildings can't be built until you have achieved a high enough technology level. Each new type of building changes the dynamics of your precariously maintained city, keeping the game interesting as your city grows. The graphics and animation are impressive, the interface is very well done for a console-mode game, and it's a lot of fun. If you liked SimCity, give this a try.
