NeoPocott/SDL

Game Homepage
A NeoGeo Pocket (Color) emulator

NeoPocott is an software emulator which emulates SNK's NeoGeo Pocket (Colour) handheld gamedevice on your RH6.x for Intel machines. NeoPocott is based upon Julien "Gollum" Frelat's NeoPocott emulator and it uses the Simple DirectMedia Layer (SDL) Library for graphical output, keyboard handling and (future) sound support. You also need a videocard which can handle 16bpp colours, thus so you must configure the X-Window System to a minimum of 16bpp! The development was done on a updated Redhat 6.x for Intel machines so it doesn't run on Linux for other platforms. I don't know if it runs on other x86 Linux platforms but you're free to try it out ;) The main SDL-core will be available in full source.

NERO Neuro-Evolving Robotic Operatives

NERO Neuro-Evolving Robotic Operatives

AI Research - Train your robots to battle against other robots

Our novel experimental game is called NERO, which stands for Neuro-Evolving Robotic Operatives. It is set in a fictional post-apocalyptic world, where robots struggle over the relics of human civilization.

Although it resembles some RTS games, unlike most RTS games NERO consists of two distinct phases of play. In the first phase individual players deploy robots in a 'sandbox' and train them to the desired tactical doctrine. Once a collection of robots has been trained, a second phase of play allows players to pit their robots in a battle against robots trained by some other player, to see how well their training regimens prepared their robots for battle. The training phase is the most innovative aspect of game play in NERO, and is also the most interesting from the perspective of AI research.

net-bubble

net-bubble

Game Homepage
a puzzle bobble like with a lot of exciting features

The object of the game is to link up more than 2 similar coloured balls together in order to remove them from the screen. In net-bubble, you get 2 major different game-play modes. The first mode is the standard one-player puzzle mode where you just have to pop all the bubbles to move onto the next stage. If they cross the limit, you're toast, so try to pop as many bubbles as you can. In this game mode, there are 30 rounds to complete. The second mode is the battle mode where the screen is split in half so that you can play against another human player or against CPU. In this mode, you have to be careful because when you burst bubbles, some are added on your opponent's screen and vice versa. The first person that lets the bubble cross the limit at the bottom looses! Note that this mode can be played locally, across LAN or Internet.
