planetGenesis (pG) is a Java program designed to produce models of planets and landscapes. A little like Mojoworld but free (as in beer and speech).

Platinum Arts Sandbox is Educational Software that enables kids to design their own 3D worlds quickly and easily. Through the program kids can make their own mazes, castles, forts, cities, etc in minutes. Kids are also a part of the world when they are creating it, so they can watch the results of their changes as they are happening. The main mission of the project will be to add more features and ways for the children to add their own custom content and to make it as easy as possible for them to do so. Also Platinum Arts will be providing custom content such as mazes, playgrounds, forts, jumping levels, forests and natural terrains to explore, etc.

The project is to remain open source and free so that developers and kids can help add new content and features to help make Platinum Arts Sandbox the most fun and easy world creation tool possible. Platinum Arts Sandbox will be easy enough for kids to use but also powerful enough for full game projects.

Main Feature List:
• The ability to map edit in game in real time and cooperatively with other people.
• The ability to immediately play with and interact with map editing changes
• Several custom maps that will feature slides, jumping levels, mazes, amusement park rides, etc
• The pursuit of making it as easy as possible to add map features and content. Also the addition of new entities to add even more features and capabilities.

Upcoming Features, a list I hope and want to have in:
• A tutorial video
• Audio tutorials
• Vehicles
• New models
• A way to scroll through the models much like how you can already scroll through the textures and easily add new models such as trees, plants, and other objects
• New maps
• New entities. I really want to create a "move" entity so players can make moveable platforms, rollercoasters, etc.
• Working water needs to be added.
• Any other features I can think of to make the creation process as easy as possible.

The contents of PLIB are:

• GUI Widgets - A fully portable GUI interface that needs only OpenGL and C++.
• Sound/Music Replay - A fully portable Audio driver suited to C++, GLUT and realtime applications that need low latency.
• Matrix/Vector math - A set of matrix and vector math functions that was specifically written to simplify the writing of efficient OpenGL programs. You need to include this code into any SSG applications.
• Scene Graph - A scene graph library layered on top of OpenGL.
• Joystick - Supports more Joysticks with more axes and buttons than GLUT.
• Fonts/Text - Supports text output in OpenGL using texture mapped fonts. These are much faster to render than GLUT's fonts.
• Utilities - A simple portability library to hide basic operating system incompatibilities. UL is still in very early development.
• Scene Graph Auxiliary - Additional functionality layered onto SSG - not every SSG program will need these but they can perhaps save you some effort.
• C-like Scripting language - an efficient script execution environment that's designed to allow more control of the scripts execution by the application.
• A simple windowing library.

One major feature of PLIB is it's lack of external dependancies. Games can depend solely on PLIB and OpenGL - which make installation very much easier for you end-users.

Plonx is a small puzzle game, where you'll have to avoid bombs and collect points.

You control the white @-sign. The red asterisks are bombs. You'll have to collect the green numbers, while avoiding the bombs, the upper and lower edges of the map, and the blue trail you leave behind. The left and right edges of the map wrap around. You'll move 1-6 spaces forward, depending on what number you first pick up on that move.

Cedega's next generation... Point2Play
A GUI for cedega
It is a program that you can use to install games (like Max Payne) with different versions of Cedega if necessary, update Cedega and Point2Play when updates are available and launch games with a simple user interface with no need to use that scary command-line interface.
