Allegro is a portable game programming library, with support for Dos, Unix (Linux, FreeBSD, etc.), Windows, BeOS and MacOS. It provides a wide range of graphics functions, sound, mouse, keyboard and joystick input, multiple timer callbacks, fixed point and 3d math routines, compressed datafile resources, and a simple GUI toolkit.
