Xlogical is a new logic game, where you have to group little colored balls together. One ball at a time comes out from the "ball generator" and you have to put it in an empty hole in one of the spinners. Once you fill the 4 holes of the spinner with matching balls, the spinner turns off and the balls disappear. You start with 4 spinners, and you get more and more spinners as you progress. The game has good graphics, sound, and looks great...

This is an implementation of Mahjongg for X for those who couldn't use GNOME/KDE. It supports several tilesets and looks nice. Of course it's very playable.

"Mame is a arcade machine emulator. Started in 1997, by Nicola Salmoria, mame started out as a series of emulators for individual games. This is a very, very cool program. ROMs are kind of hard to find at the moment, though, because apparently The Man is cracking down on sites who distribute them. As if Dig Dug still has value outside a nostalgia application like this one.

Mame also supports Glide and OpenGL rendering, and experimental networked multiplayer.

Unfortunately, arcade ROM images are a legal gray area, and therefore difficult to find. However, they are out there if you look hard enough.

XMAME GUI is a Java frontend for XMAME. It offers features such as screenshot previews, ROM verification and a Random Game tool.

XMemory is a concentration (memory) game with a multiplayer mode for X11. You can play in realtime against multiple human opponents over a LAN; it's mildly amusing for about fifteen minutes. The newest version has support for color bitmaps on the cards.

XMille is an X interface to the Mille Bournes card game. It's a great game, but I would enjoy it more if it supported multiple (human) players. Also, the informative label telling you why you can't play a card isn't wide enough and the text often is truncated.
