Game Homepage ServerWatch is a GUI interface for the Linux NWN Server. ServerWatch is a GUI interface for the Linux NWN Server. It uses the KDE toolkit. I have changed the interface a bit from the server GUI that Bioware made for windows. The biggest change is that I have grouped the widgets into two Tabs ("Server" and "Game"), and provided a third Tab ("Messages") that logs all server messages, and allows you to send commands to the server manually if you wish. Game Homepage XML and GTK-based graphical installer utility Setup Graphic Installer 1.0 is a graphic installer utility, with which a developer can create a simple, easy-to-use, standardized install routine. This is the tool Loki uses in many of their commercial products. This installer uses an XML description file to describe a package, and provides both a console and a GTk front-end to install it. The installer requires libxml 1.4.0 to parse the XML configuration, and libglade 1.7 to dynamically load the GTk user interface definition. Source archives for these libraries can be found in ./libs, and newer versions may also work. License: free

Game Homepage Play games created with Sphere. Sphere is a tool for making games with a few clicks and a few (Java) Scripts. The games can be made with the editor in Windows, or using the wxEditor for linux that is still in beta. The windows version of Sphere supports different graphics drivers such as OpenGL, GDI, or DirectX. For Linux, it uses SDL and supports a few minor settings. Sphere has been developed for years, to be precise, since 1997. The source code has since grown to 253 830 lines in over 1000 files (243 lines per file avg. if you're a nerd), and the main author (Chad Austin) has also written 2 additional libraries from scratch that have been embedded in Sphere. Don't waste time coding a 2d engine, use Sphere! Note: You need to build from CVS to get the engine running for linux. You can get live support on irc @ esper.net/#sphere. First RTFM though.
